Karing For Katie and the Bearded Iris

Late last year, my beautiful little cousin Katie was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma (bone cancer). Our family is rallying around her, as is her hometown, friends, acquaintences, neighbors, and through the Karing for Katie Facebook Page, strangers with open hearts from around the world. Here is some more info about Katie taken from that page:

"Kaitlyn is the beautiful 7 year old daughter of Nicole and Justin Clemens. On November 8th, 2011 their world was turned upside down when Katie was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma... Bone Cancer. Katie has begun her battle against this disease and with the wonderful doctors and treatment plans at Children's Hospital Of Philadelphia, we look forward to the day of victory....one day at a time."

Katie and her family are well on their way along the journey down this road to victory, and they need all the love and support they can get - believe me when I tell you that none deserve that love and support more. Direct outlets for monetary donations, rally bracelets, love and support can all be found on the Karing for Katie Facebook page.

This page is set up to spread the word of Katie and her family's courage, and show how I am planning to help - with your support. I am donating an edition of traditional Japanese woodblock prints (moku hanga), packs of note cards, and giving away an original painting. The prints are titled "The Bearded Iris." See below:

The Bearded Iris 6 1/2" X 9 1/2", moku hanga print, 2012

I'm offering this print for only $10.00 - highly affordable for an original piece of hand-made artwork. All of the money (less shipping costs) will go straight to Karing For Katie. The edition size is limited to 100, and with a network of thousands coming together to support Katie, they will go quickly. Each print is numbered and signed by the artist. You may safely and securely (through the power of Google) place your orders below with Google Checkout. Please include any pertinent shipping information. You may view the entire creation process, from initial concept sketch to carved wood and finished print, on the Justin Luis Diaz.Com Facebook Page and on this site in the Bearded Iris section. Just click the "Add To Cart" button below to purchase the print.
